In-Class 8

In Class 8 we were able to get a model for us to practice sketching in real life and to help us practice shading. The picture with half her body sketched out was drawing during the time when I was consulting with the teacher so I was unable to finish the sketch.

In-Class 7

In this class we had to sketch someone in our class while they were sketching us or someone else. I sketched Rain for mine.

Two point Perspective

For this piece of homework we had to take a picture of a few objects of our choosing. Then we were to pick one of these objects and draw them in the two point Perspective format. I choose the glue bottle from the picture. I also coloured the lines that had to be labelled as well with the right colours. Please see sheet with instructions for labels.

In-Class 6

We used the grid board to draw two things in real life. It must include one human and a object.

In-Class 4

Here are the in class sketches I did. I made them into my character Bubba so I could have some practice drawing him in different Positions.

In-Class 3

Here is the in class for last weeks. We had to redraw these to scenes or characters to show a different silhouette that would read better for the audience and showed a better line of action. So here is the Cat swinging a newspaper and a duck pulling a rabbit out of it's hat.

Character Body Types

Here are some characters I made from the different body type that a cartoonist might use. The body types are Goofy (Reggie), Screwball (Freddy), Cute (Mikey), and Heavy/Bully body (Jack).

In-Class 2

Here are the pictures I had done in class. Same as last week except we had to interact with an object. The students seemed to like 2 and 4 the most out of these drawings and I must say I agree. I like the pose the person was doing and I seemed to capture a very interesting silhouette with them.

Here is the picture of the object I was using for the exercise:

Now here is the thumbnails I got from this clock:

Class 1 Exercise

This is the pictures of the fellow students in my class that I had to sketch in three minutes as they pose.

After I sketched them we had to go around and pic our two favourite pictures for each others drawings. When I came back I was a little bit surprise with the results. The top favourite of the group was my second favourite ( 3 from the top in this file) and the second favourite was actually one of the ones I disliked the most ( 2 from bottom). The reason for the 2 from the bottom was the one I disliked was because I made him too fat compared to the student. Anyways my top favourites were, in this set up of the pictures, is the 3rd and 4th from the top. I like these two because of their position of  the person and how well they represent how the person looked when I drew them.
